Marginalia

Notes in the margin for first-time readers, in the order the questions tend to arrive.

Must I register before reading?

Not to begin. Declare yourself an adult, take a spine from the shelf and speak. A guest keeps 10 messages, and the telling travels with you into an account when you create one.

What happens when I press Open?

Her chat opens with the telling already spoken in your name, which costs one message. For her plain opening instead, use the other button on her folio.

What are the first reading, the reading room and patronage?

A first reading lasts 3 days and opens all sixteen volumes. After it you sit in the reading room: 10 lines a day, the tally flipping at midnight UTC, with the first 3 volumes you opened. Patron lifts the limit; the short term is 30 days at $15, the long one 365 days at $99. The offerings page shows your standing.

How do I make an offering?

The offering is USDT, carried over TRON (TRC-20); the page names the address and the precise sum. Patron days begin shortly after the transfer registers. Nothing recurs, and nothing is returned, as the covenant states.

Will she speak first?

During a first reading, or as patron, she may turn the next page herself once you have left the book alone for a time, but not at an hour when you ought to be in bed. Adjust that on your lectern.

What does she remember?

Small notes about what you offered and said. They sit in the chat menu, open to rewording or deletion. Whatever fills the About you box reaches every one of the sixteen before you open your mouth.

How warm do the tellings get?

Each chat includes a tone dial from friendly up to romance. Desire on her side is permitted, and so is saying it. At the edge of the explicit, the book closes, whatever your standing.

Do the women have pictures?

Yes. Each has a glamorous portrait as her frontispiece, and the front page carries a wide banner of the reading room. She will describe herself if asked. There is no video anywhere on the site.

How do I stop?

Strike any scroll from its menu to end that telling. To close the account, write to the scribe from the address you registered.
